Unit 50% Above Ground, 50% below

Hello forumers!

My RPG (when my terrainer finishes) will have many bosses. I want one called "Kunichua." He is a really fat guy, who is so fat you can't see his legs. I'm going to use one of the ogres as the basic model, scale it up a bit, then sink it under ground. It is the latter I am having trouble with. I can't see any possible way of doing it.

Ideas, anyone?

Movement type hover, change the flying height.

export the skin to skin editor, delete the legs

import back to editor, give crow form, set fly height to 0

more complicated than the last one,but it works too.

where would you get a skin editor

Any program that
A) Supports Alpha Channels (Most all Paint programs that are desent)
B) Can save as .tga (What doesn't nowadays?)

I use Paint Shop Pro 9 and it works good, theres others if you want to pay more but i see no need to as its the skill of the desinger not the cost of the program that counts.
