Unit Dies

Is there a way to make a unit come back to life after it dies if it is not controled by anyone? Hmm I guess thats kind of a stupid question so let me explain. I want there to be a trigger that lets you get a unit. Once you get it it becomes yours. But others can get the same unit. Can i have that unit regenerate after it dies if I dont want to have it on the map? Hope its not to hard to answer.

I'll try. :

Event - Unit - Specific Unit Event - A Unit Dies
Conditions - Unit Type Comparison - ( Triggering Unit is equal to <your unit> ))
Actions - Unit - Replace ( Triggering Unit )) with <A new Unit>

Create a new trigger, no name, then..
Events - Timed Event - Every 2.00 seconds of game time
Conditions -
Actions - Trigger, Run trigger (The first trigger)

That's the best i can come up with.. ill try again when I get home.. im on my laptop at school.. kinda hard 2 b in trigger editor..

Err, there's no need for a second trigger to run the first one. Otherwise, logically, you should have to create limitless triggers to run the previous one.
Also, if you make the unit be replaced, the corpse will be replaced by another one.

The simpliest solution is to make a custom ability on the base of reincarnation (neutral hostile), and decrease the cooldown to 0, and then give the unit that ability.

    [generic unit event]
    A unit dies
Condition:
    [Unit comparison]
    (Dying unit) is equal to Bleh
Actions:
    [unit - remove]
    Remove (dying unit) from the game
    [unit - create unit facing angle]
    Create a Bleh at (location of dying unit)

what i guess im trying to say is there a way to respawn a unit for everyone playing? Hope its not as complicated.

Add the condition:

Conditions:
    [player comparison]
    Owner of (dying unit) is not equal to (computer)

The "computer" player doesn't exist in the editor, of course. You have to choice the player that is controlled by the computer.

If there are several computer players, simply add several player comparisons.
