Unit Shooting While Moving

My plan:

I created a tower defense style part of my game where there's a path that mazes through a town (different terrain [Cobble Path]) and catapults follow those paths. The problem is the whole area is the same height, and I want to keep it that way, so is there a way that I can make the catapults still follow that certain path?
And is there a way that I can make them shoot while moving?

Base an abbility off Phoneix Fire, its the closest to something shooting while moving

Is this the ability that being used by the battleship?

If you mean the game Battleships, yes, it is. It automatically targets random units though, but most of the time it's fine.

How can I do this? Like I just want the attacks to be normal catapult projectiles. Is this a trigger? o.0

change the art of phoenix fire and give it to an item or unit. it will auto attack.

No, you must first find the Phoenix fire ability. Then change its Missile art to your catapult's. Then, change its targets to Buildings only (if thats what you want), and finally, give the ability to the catapult. They will now randomly throw boulders at enemy buildings.

Well, i have been wandering about the battleship ability for a long time
Done some research and read it was actually a custom jass

This is the first time i know it was actually from pheonix fire ability.
