Unit targetable spell that adds constant damage

Yeah, this is probably a really dumb question, but after being away from WE for 5 years, I seem to have forgotten if there ever was such an ability that existed. I typically use percentages using Inner Fire, but that wouldn't work for this case. I want to avoid using the item abilities because of how unnerving the coding process takes in GUI (I'm making for a friend's map, and I want to keep it understandable for them so they can edit it at will - I also don't know how to vJass).

On the top of my head.
-Create a dummy targeting spell using Channel
-When cast, add a Trueshot Aura with Flat Bonus = True or Bash with 100% chance to hit.

Yeah.. I would use Critical Strike (not Bash.. last time I remembered a 0.00 duration causes it to stun forever), but I wouldn't be able to see the bonus

That trushot aura idea however... hmmm..

Can you set the level of an ability within a disable Spell Book?

Also, do multiple instances of a flat bonus Trueshot Aura stack?

Yes you can set the level inside a Spell Book. But remember that only unit abilities and not hero abilities can be placed in such a book. Can't see that being a problem in your case though.

I can't remember if they stack, but that is fairly easy to test yourself

One of the Item Damage Bonus abilities, maybe? I seem to remember that they don't appear on the command card, even without a spell book.

I've resorted to using Drunken Brawler for balance purposes on my friends' map. The bonus damage won't affect buildings, and this passive was perfect for it.

I'll prolly delve in Trueshot Aura and Item Attack Damage in the near future.
