    There is no way you can get 8191 heroes, and still be able to host the map on battle.net (file size)
    It would probably lag either way.
    So what he means is, don't worry about hero limits. Let's put it that way :p

    in all of those games combined, yes, but not in any one of them

    just imagine if everyone did the same, bumping would become useless, just let it be, campaign it n your sig if you want, but let it die peacefully otherwise

    A hero does not cause even 100kb so it is possible :cool:
    And dont forget the optimizer

    Anyway this should be extremely useful to my map :)

    Easy to configure , useful and much better than the clicking hero selection or tavern.
    Hope to see this in a map with lots of heroes. May use it myself.

    As posted above.
    To be honest don't hate against dota heroes there are some very developed heroes in it as well as some with no trigger enhanced abilities.
    Spectre
    Enigma
    Crystal Maiden
    Sand King
    Huskar
    Puck
    Pit Lord
    ect

    They don't need the fancy 100% JASS spells if they serve their role in a unique way they are well designed. AoM did a good job , ToB and AotZ as well tho some concepts overused.

    AoM through together random flashy spells on heroes, AotZ has some good ones, but only has like 15 heroes total, ToB has some pretty basic shit heroes itself, and DotA, as I said, has some really neatly made heroes (Axe, BS, Pudge), however, 12 of them.....don't think so

    What if you have 1 tavern and everyone tries to select from it?

    Then they start arguing about choosing a hero because someone keeps pressing the button.

    Anyways thats what I thought before looking at the code..now lemme actually look at it :p

    "No I want the blue thing in page 5 you gay!"
    Does this mean everyone can change page
    I think the answers is definetly yes.

    At times like this, you can alway do the Make tavern owned by a certain player technique, give him ... seconds to choose or next player turn.

    this is a good system... i'll use it in my map.

    proper credits will be given of course...

    EDIT:

    just implemented it. works smoothly. modified from 4 heroes each section to 9 heroes per section.

    You can create an invisible tavern for each player that is selected during the start of the game and will be selected until the player selects a hero... Did it once.

    Other way (but the system is completely different)
    is to disable/enable hero arrays to a player if he buy the 'next'

    i do certainly believe this system needs a "back" button....

    (with thing in mind that... supposedly we've got 400 heroes on tavern;
    what if the player missed the hero he's picking, then he will push that
    "next" button a hundred times again... that would be annoying!)
