Upgrades Over Lvl 3

I found in the editor where to speed up upgrades, but how do I add more upgrades like 255 or whatever...

Im going to assume it's here.. Data/Upgrades Then i found Terran Infantry Weapons 3 and right clicked on it and i can either Add Object or Duplicate Object(Duplicate Object is easier if you don't know what your doin)

So i duplicated weapons 3, and named it Weapons Level 4...
Am i on the right track?

Do i also have to add it to the Engineering Bays Info + list of upgrades?
and do i have to add it to the command card?

Ok, I've gone into Data/Upgrades and created Levels 4-10 for Terran Infantry and Vehicle Weapons. Instead of ticking check boxes which would of created duplicate Rines/Marauders/Reapers/Ghosts copies, I left them unchecked so they link to the original units. Not a big deal, but neat to know when creating new unique units.

Now i have gone into Data/Abilities/Armory - Research (Armory) and doubleclicked on Info +

Research 01, 02, 03 ect... i select a blank one to modify, and i am going to reuse the vehicle weapons 1 button(or maybe for 4-10 all will use button 3, idk)

Then on the very bottom, i can choose my new upgrade Terran vehicle Weapons Level 4. Now hopefully i can add the button(i noticed the ranks of ups' buttons are stacked in the Command Card field editor)

I'm learning kinda on the fly... lol
I would post pics to show these steps better, but i dont feel like it..
I just described what screen im in like this Data/Abilities/Armory - Research (Armory) ect.

Funny thing is im putting in all this work and we'll have to redo most of our work when the real editor ships with the game.

Altho I've come to a roadblock..

In the Armory, i can make lvl 3 be a requirement for lvl 4... So i will be able to actually add 4 to the game... but i can't add lvl 5 because it's impossible(at least for now) to make lvl 4 a requirement for lvl 5. At least for now... maybe it's just something im missing..

Maybe i can just make lvl 3 for all and place the buttons underneath each other in the command card and they wont show up til 4 is used etc. ? idk..


EDIT: DUH.. i just have to go into the Data/Requirements tab and create one for each lvl also... then i shouldnt have the above problem... I knew id figure it out in a second lol

Lots of data to duplicate and fields to make... it wasnt near this long and tedious in staredit or other editors... but of course they weren't this powerful either... Many more things we can do now...

lol i bet i just started messing around with the editor yesterday

and my second roadblock.. had to make buttons for each lvl of upgrade... maybe if i use tree view for Data i wont miss an important section lol

ughh i'm stuck.. Something i did is now making it so i can only train the lvl 1 terran vehicle weapons upgrade. After i train lvl 1.. it stays lvl 1.. so i can queue up 5 lvl 1's...

I got my requirements set up right.. not sure why it won't change to lvl 2...
I'm sure it's some little thing i can't seem to find...

EDIT: I reset everything back to Parent.. except.. buttons, upgrades, and requirments.. and now I can advance to lvl 2, where before i was stuck researching lvl 1 nonstop. So now i remade the ability and command card for lvl 4... one step at a time...


EDIT 2: Now 1-4 work fine :) i just have to do the same for 5-10 without messing anything up... lol

I can get 1-4 to work.. cant go any higher..

I've checked, double checked, and checked again on the requirements, upgrades, abilities, buttons and command card. I am following the same templates as 1-4 for 5-10.

maybe it's a limitation of the editor for now? Can anyone else get more ups?
i could increase 4's max... I've read ppl talking about quickly getting more ups that way...

    I do know this - xenforo dropped the ball by not keeping the vbulletin reputation comments as a feature. The loss of the Reputation comments data when we switched to Xenforo really was the death knell for the site when it came to all the users that left. I know I missed it so much and I got way less interested in the site when that feature was gone and I run the site.
