USB and/or USB2.0

I've heard using USB devices robs processor cycles from programs. If this is true, with the increased bandwidth of the new USB2.0, is there a greater load on the processor? Also, does using a PCI card USB controller help reduce the load on the processor?

Which is better, a USB mouse or PS2 mouse

Depending on system specs... USB does use some cycles .. but if your system is better than say a 400mhz with 128 ram .. you wont see the hit ...

Ps/2 also uses cycles .. btw..

Best is what each person prefers.. for each person who says UsB is better... there will be a person to say PS/2 is better...matter of preference.

Now if you were asking about Optical mice vs Ball Mice.. then the answer would be Optical all the way ( unless your using Microsoft mice.. then stick with the ball)

hook up say 148 usb devices and see how fast your computer works then hehehe

no expierence with usb2.0 yet coz no operating supports it yet .
MS is going to support it in win xp but for now it is not supported yet.
