I have a building, a Workshop. I decided to have it provide several upgrades to allied players on a melee BN map. In the Object Manager, I've filled in the Unit>Techtree-Researches Available slot with the Upgrades listing. I've also decided for whom the upgrades will apply (Units>Techtree-Units Trained), as well as the building's abilities (Units>Abilities-Normal>Invulnerable). The building belongs to a computer-driven ally of 5 other players/user-driven. I have removed the Techtree prerequisite(s) for each upgrade, so each requires a set amount of Gold. I've done a region around the bldg which changes its ownership to the adjacent/selected hero. But none of the Upgrades appear for any allied player, including the computer when one of their heros walks up next to the Workshop. Anyone ever done this before? The tutorial has nothing in it for upgrades, just unit and item selling. Are Ryoko and Darg even stumped on this one?
P.S. This is the same thing the BN game Rival Nations does, but evidently no one else knows how to do it. This is simply an area most programmers won't share information on....because they don't want anyone else to be able to make a map with an Upgrade Center? Crazy values there guys! Actually a little hypocritical (two-faced) and petty.
