variable help

ok im making a cinematic and like mind said i wanna make the life of the enmys lower so the battle doesnt last FOREVER and im not geting this variable thingy ive looked at the variables tutorial and it still didnt help so can sum1 tell me how to be able to pick those enmy units and set their life?

That depends on whose unit current hit points you're tyring to reduce.

In the case you placed the unit in the world editor, simply use the following trigger action:

Unit - Set life of Ghoul 000 to 50

If you use a unit which was created during the game, things might get a bit more complicated.

To set a unit variable, use the "set variable" action just after you've created a unit.

Actions:
    Unit - Create 1 Sludge Flinger at (Center of (Region000)) facing (random degrees)
    Set SF = Last Created Unit
