Visual Basic: Custom Color Maker

Does anyone know how to make a custom color selector? Like when I click and move my mouse on a box with colors inside it changes the color selected? Look at the picture for more information.

I dont know about the code you'd use but when I made one of these for WC3, I used autoit.

I just took a screenshot of the gradient, and made it so when you click on the image it gets the color of the pixel your mouse is pointing to. So, it was improvised, but worked fine
