off the top of my head a few things i noticed that i did not partcularly care for (mind you, it does make things a lot easier, and I like it a lot)

  • Why does it need to ask me if I really want to convert back from WC3 code? IF I say I want to I want to
  • When I click the quick color palette, at first it shows up as opaque, not until i hover over it does it shows with transparency, if I click it i want to see it immediatly
  • If I cntrl-A to copy the code, it always grabs an extra line, not sure why
  • A hotkey for going back and forth between colored text and WC3 mode would be nice, the less I need to use the mouse the better
  • Premade templates would be nice - i know you say ppl can make them, but still...
  • Spell checker perhaps? Maybe that would be too hard to put in, still would be nice though

btw I am on Vista, if that makes a difference
is there a way to view what its going to look like in game? I know the colored text basically shows it, but I would like to see an actual spell toltip thing pop up if I want

BUMP. Version 1.4 is out, check first post for more info.

When you are in Gradient mode, it won't save the current position in the string - instead it always swaps to the last character. Cool stuff anyway : )

In the "Edit map custom strings" interface, only doodads + strings could be imported. Not units, nor items nor abilities.
After protecting a map, all the strings were accessible via the string tab, but well that's obvious.
Group by name didn't work twice, and there was no "ungroup" button :/

The docu is really nice and informative.
If you fix above mentioned issues, gj!

There is a new version by the way, contains some bugfixes and changes, but the project is now open source. Check first post for more info.
