w3m saved as w3x

im making a map and i want to save my progress but the problem is that when i save my map it saved at w3x -.- why does this happen man? i didnt notice till like the day after i saved it and i had to start over >_<

Do you have The Frozen Throne?
If so, then it should save as a w3x. If that is not the case, then there is a problem....
Are you trying to use NewGen even though you don't have The Frozen Throne?

Though, I don't know if that's possible....

If you're using Frozen Throne, it saves all of your maps with the "w3x" extension. However, if you're using Reign of Chaos, it saves your map as "w3m."

If you're using any modded World Editors and you only have Reign of Chaos, that may be the source of your problem.

Just change w3m to w3x or the opposite. Worked for me.

dont have TFT on this laptop i got RoC from a burned disc which is just installation of Wc3 no patch no mods anything =/

Your map.w3x

Change the ending .w3x to .w3m
I used to do that and it changed the map perfectly. You shouldn't have a problem.

it doesnt do anything when i do that and i went open it does not appear on browse screen becuz its still w3m

You're editing another dude's map.
I had the same problems trying to save in RoC when editing another map.

Go make your own.
