I need help because when ever i try to mod this map and resave it it turns into an expansion file even tho i didnt put in an expantion item or char. all i do is remove some units and give a new model to a hero. HELP!

Hmm, it MAY be because the Ghost of Kel'Thuzad model is a campaign model...You're better off going with the Necromancer (which is exactly what Kel'Thuzad is anyway) and scaling it up and messing with the colors a bit...That may prevent it from turning your map expansion.

However, I'm curious why this is a problem. Do you not have the TFT expansion?

Are you sure there isn't anything else you've done to the map at all? Be sure you mention everything.

I'm not 100% on this, but I believe the WE turns your map expansion the second you add customized data to it. If that's the case, then there is very little you can do without having an expansion map...My advice to you is to get the TFT disc, as it IS very useful and fun!

Wait...now I'm confused. You say you don't have the expansion, but it's saving as an expansion map?

He opened a ROC map, Silverhawk...Then he modified his hero's model, and it gave him the notice saying it was now an expansion map because of blah blah blah. (At least, that's what I'm getting out of it)

no i dont have the expansion so i dont even know how it is making expansion files. and the map already has costom data on it. i got it off b-net.

That's odd. That never happened to me when I had RoC. Maybe there's a bug or something.

Hey, can't you just open up the Map Description window? On the bottom, doesn't it list the reasons of why it's an expansion? Just save it as an expansion, and if it leaves the window up, open Map Descriptions, and give that a look...
