Warcarft III geology

How can you export the maps, which you see before starting a campaign? (preloading screens)
I want to expend my knowledge of the Warcarft III world, to create levels. (while I know nothing about real geology, freak I am) Could someone also tell me what Azeroth and Khaz Modan are? All I know about Khaz Modan is that it's the homeland of the dwarves. Which tilesets should you use for those lands, what is their history, what's the climate and which creeps are there?

for the other question, there is a website that deals with all warcraft history, but I'll have to search for it first before I can tell you.
