warcraft 3 crashing

hello here are my system specs

p4 2.4
512mb ram
geforce4 4200ti
xp
and 43.45 det nvidia drivers

for some reason or another when im in the chat screen in warcraft 3 battle net after a little while the screen goes white and nothing responds and i have to reset my computer

if anyone still looks at these forums and can help it would be greatly appreciated

can anyone help?

ive tried reinstalling, defraging same thing

i would like to aviod formatting atm since i have exams atm

there ya go same thing happens in tft as well and yes i tried most of the problem solutions on that page

Removed serial numbers
 
Have a look in your Warcraft III folder. If you find a folder named "Errors", open one of the .err files in there with notepad and copy-paste the first few lines. (never mind the random numbers and letters rubbish)
 
when computer crashes it doesnt create a error file, the screen goes white and sound just stutters for a few seconds then have to press power button, ( which shuts down computer) and you can hear the computer shutting down.

    this is the fix I get from that yeah this is hard to control. disabling bots is pretty much necessary as ai and other bots would push really old threads to the top. reduce weight of view count. disable guest view tracking if you really want to push active threads to the top. a bit of tinkering for a few days with the weights and other settings should get you a decent trending widget box.

    Wow - the change in the stats are major. I kind of knew it was all bots but wow, to see the effect. Why the social media sites cant do something like this I have no idea.

    Yeah google does not filter those bots. I remember when Apex was doing Google ads I saw the same IPs in there as I was seeing here - google is totally tracking all those bots as traffic and most google traffic, at least ours, was all bots
