Warcraft 3 not keeping internet connection alive

56K dialup on The Microsoft Network
Windows ME
Athlon 1.4GHZ 256MB Ram


After about 10 minutes on a Battlenet game, MSN disconnects me. It seems like Warcraft 3 is not keeping my internet connection alive. I play Everquest, DAoC, and Starcraft, with no problems. The only two programs that seem to not keep my connection alive are Warcraft 3 and AOL Instant Messenger. Anyone found a fix for this problem?
 
In the connection's options, disable the "disconnect when idle" or "when the connection might not be needed".
 
Not in Warcraft III, on the internet connection itself. I do not know much about Windows ME. Hopefuly someone can back me up on this.

    I'd rather personally just own a backup of the Nuon data than see it go to AtariAge honestly. If it gets enshittified as per usual, or if some of the "regular" Jaguar folks get there, it's not gonna be fun
