Hello, I seem to have solved the WC3 Freezing issue without
altering the command line...
I was playing for hours last night, and there were no
re-occurances.
My System:
1.33GHz Athlon Thunderbird
Soltek SL75-DRV2
256MB Crucial (Runnin @ Cas 2)
Geforce 2 MX-400 64MB (230-170)
Quantum Fireball PLUS LM 20.5GB
Enermax 431W Whisper PSU
... and that is all that is relevant ...
ANYWAYS, how did I fix this problem?
Well, what I did was increase the Aperature Size in my bios from
64MB to 128MB...
Strange that this would fix the constant "play for 10-15
min" freeze problem.
Sometimes the game would even freeze right on launch...
Well, this seems to have fixed my problem.
I will do more extensive testing on it more today, just to make
sure the problem has been fixed....
Let me know if this helps any of you out!
Again, this took no command line alterations, so I am still
running the game in D3D mode @ 1024 * 768 16Bit color.
