WarcraftIII freezing

Heyho I have got a problem:
When I join a "selfmade game" my computer freezes.
If i create a game no one comes in.
I am connected to the computer of my brother and we use the programm:Avirt Gateway.
Perhaps i need another programm?
Or what is it?Please help me thanks

by the way: if I play with "Play" or "Arranged team" it functions perfectly.

finally i have solved the problem:
used kazaa for downloading sygate home network and SG keygen. ,installed it on both comps and it worked and no freezing and no problems anymore

Ok guys here's what i found.
Had multiboot 98me,win2k either os locking up with wc3.
Pent 1gig intel cpu, via tyan MB trinity 450
256 mb ram
geforce2 mx200 32mb 29.42 ref drivers.
hercules fortissimo II soundcard.
tried this on 2k first, replaced dsound.dll,dsound3d.dll,dsound.vxd.
With older directx 8.0a files,my partition was fat32 which i dualbooted to 98 me to replace the files on my win2k drive.
rebooted back into win2k, it griped about the entrypoint for the vxd.
But to me this was a livable because it allowed me to play without lockups, only con was at the end of the campaign 8th mission they play a divx ending which i couldn't hear.
But the rest of the game sounded fine.
Will probably test my theory on 98ME,tonight.
