Have u ever experienced that u cant distribute a skill point. IE. I have an assassin LVL 24. There is a shadow skill called Shadow warrior and its lvl 18. Now i have all prequisites which are claw mastery and weapon block. Now i cant distribute any points to that skill. Any ideas why ?

That sucker could be of great help in a thight spot, and its a prequisite to shadow master.

does the skill point stay red?

go to your Diablo 2\Saved folder and delete the folder corresponding to the name of the realm the character is on (i.e. USEast)

this is just temporary character info that will be recreated next time you connect

It is a single player char. =) And yes the skill button stays red even that all prequisites have been met.

Try deleting the characters .map, .ma#, and .key files, they will all be recreated. But whatever you do, DO NOT DELETE the .d2s files.

hmmm I've only heard of that with realm characters

if you ever get the problem with a realm char, there's the solution

hmmm so maybe the same solution does work as with realms (with the problem on realms you just really need to delete the .key file)
