1. Damage Factor - Medium
2. Damage Factor - Small
3. Damage Loss Factor
4. Spill Distance
5. Spill Radius
6. Damage Upgrade Amount
7. Range Motion Buffer

Lastly, I'm trying to make a new spell which is based on Flamestrike but with a projectile art. I've already selected the projectile art (Pocket Factory), set the speed to 1000 & the arc to 0.20 but the projectile art doesn't appear when the spell is cast. Can anyone please tell me what I'm missing? Thanx.

Well here's some stuff I copied out of my encyclopaedia that I'm writing. It's all in beta stage atm, so take it with a grain of salt.

Combat - Attack x - Damage Factor – Medium (Real)

Defines the percentage damage received by units in a medium AOE around the target of the attacking unit/building/hero. The full damage that the target receives is determined by the Unit Editor fields “Combat - Attack x - Damage Base”, “Combat - Attack x - Damage Number of Dice” and “Combat - Attack x - Damage Sides per Die”. The size of the medium AOE is set in the Unit Editor field “Combat - Attack x - Area of Effect (Medium Damage)”.

Combat - Attack x - Damage Factor – Small (Real)

Defines the percentage damage received by units in a small AOE around the target of the attacking unit/building/hero. The full damage that the target receives is determined by the Unit Editor fields “Combat - Attack x - Damage Base”, “Combat - Attack x - Damage Number of Dice” and “Combat - Attack x - Damage Sides per Die”. The size of the small AOE is set in the Unit Editor field “Combat - Attack x - Area of Effect (Medium Damage)”.

Combat - Attack x - Damage Loss Factor (Real)

Defines a damage multiplier loss for every additional target hit after the first one, when attacking units using the “Artillery (Line)” or “Missile (Line)” attack types. As each target is hit, the amount of damage done is the Damage Loss Factor multiplied by the amount of damage done to the previous target.

Combat - Attack x - Damage Spill Distance (Real)

For units/buildings/heroes that have the attack type “Artillery (Line)”, this field defines up to what distance additional targets in a line behind the initial target will be affected by the target weapon.

Combat - Attack x - Damage Spill Radius (Real)

For units/buildings/heroes that have the attack type “Artillery (Line)”, this field defines up to what radius additional targets in a line behind the initial target will be affected by the target weapon.

Combat - Attack x - Damage Upgrade Amount (Integer)

Unknown.

Combat - Attack x - Range Motion Buffer (Real)

Unknown.

Sweet!!! Will it include a Complete Dummies Guide To Map Triggers?

There is a basic outline of trigger structure on the tutorial site.

Then there is a tutorial about variables (the other half of programming).

Individual triggers are broken down throuout the other tutorials. For example, cameras and creating heros.

We have a MASSIVE TD tutorial comming.

We have a MASSIVE Unit tutorial comming.

We have a multiboard tutorial comming.

VER VERY GOOD I NEED THAT TD TRIGGERS AND UNITS IM A NOOB AT THAT

Me too!!!

Such as attacking 2 or more ground or air targets simultaneously instead of setting Attack 1 to only attack ground & Attack 2 to only attack air. Even by doing so it attacks ground & air targets separately instead of simultaneously!!! HELP!!!

Not on the Headline News page just on the Forums page can we get that Featured and Trending on the home page?
  • Ghan Ghan:
Since the home page is technically a forum, it now shows on all forum views. Still in the sidebar.
