What is temp 2 (Speedfan)

I've recently installed a new motherboard, put in a new CPU as well, and when I run speedfan to check temperatures, I get this:

Should I be worried about Temp 2?

Did you distribute the thermal paste equally, a pea-sized amount in the centre is usually enough. Unless you are using the stock paste provided by the CPU manufacturer.

I'm guessing this is an AMD processor.

Try using a different CPU monitoring tool to check the temperatures, specifically: Core Temp.

The processor itself is fine, no temperature issues. the 127 C appears nowhere else, but from Speedfan.
