Microsoft Word, but I tried out Scriviner and it's really handy when managing scenes, characters, locations... etc.
I actually recommend you to try it out, though it does take a while to get used to.
Thanks for the suggestion. I downloaded the trail and tried it out, at first I was like 0.o wtf is all this stuff? But when you start really looking at it, it's not too complex.
Actually I like Scrivener a lot. It makes writing fantasy novels and stuff seem easier if you break things down into scenes and parts, knowing that you can easily drag and drop to move them around into any order.
Speaking of which, I should post something up here. It's been ages since I've posted anything.
Good old pen and paper helps for long stories/essays. Leave it for a day. Go back and read it and catch my mistakes or maybe I think of ways to rephrase a thing or two.
I find it helps to keep me organized and keeps all my notes in one place that I can't erase or lose [short of the site going down or something, which hasn't happened yet!]
Although I don't know if I need to actually actively heat it or just let the plate and hotend bring the ambient temp to whatever it will, but even then I need to figure out an exfiltration for hot air. I think I kind of know what to do but it's still fucking confusing
I don't think I'm dealing with quite the same pressures though, at the very least its a significantly smaller system. For the time being I'm just going to put together a quick scrubby box though and hope it works good enough to not make my house toxic
I do know this - xenforo dropped the ball by not keeping the vbulletin reputation comments as a feature. The loss of the Reputation comments data when we switched to Xenforo really was the death knell for the site when it came to all the users that left. I know I missed it so much and I got way less interested in the site when that feature was gone and I run the site.
