I don't see what's wrong with it, that's the joy of PCI, if you think that's a problem, go and build yourself a nice ol 3/486 and make sure each device is set to that IRQ :)

when lots of hardware devices reside on the same IRQ it usually means you have ACPI turned on in your bios, allowing windows to virtually asign IRQ's to all these devices, essentialy these devices are not all using IRQ 9, but windows fools the power interface into thinking this to enable all the features that ACPI supports, to stop this, you can change the ACPI driver from within device manager, (under computer, at the top) back to a normal PC Driver, however, if you have dual CPU or use the power save features, these will no longer work after changing the ACPI driver, it may also be necesary to turn off ACPI in the bios ,
and a re-install may be necesary
 
Thats what I suspected :) too many years of IRQ problems leads me to be leery of multiple things.. however.. have had Zero probs with this setup that couldnt be fixed with a driver update :)

DSL is fast, video is fast, sound is clear and USB works smooth even when all running at the same time :)


just wanted to hear yer opinions

ACPI typically assigns all your PCI devices to a single IRQ (usually 11). Interestingly enough, this still causes problems with some devices, such as a Live! with the Live! drivers/software, which apparently create too much "noise" on the PCI bus, causing faliures elsewhere.

    this is the fix I get from that yeah this is hard to control. disabling bots is pretty much necessary as ai and other bots would push really old threads to the top. reduce weight of view count. disable guest view tracking if you really want to push active threads to the top. a bit of tinkering for a few days with the weights and other settings should get you a decent trending widget box.

    Yeah google does not filter those bots. I remember when Apex was doing Google ads I saw the same IPs in there as I was seeing here - google is totally tracking all those bots as traffic and most google traffic, at least ours, was all bots
