You can vote for 1 or 2, but no more than 2.

Firelord pawns. His summons are perfect for harassing and as blockaides. His volcano owns, and so does his incinerate. Damnman, can't imagine how powerful Ragnaros. He's the one who shattered the redridge mountains creating Blackrock Spire which the Blackrock orc clan are named after.

I always go Firelord as a caster, and I'll usually have a Panda too. The Firelord's virtues have already been illustrated by Conan, and as I play Night Elf, I like to bring in the Panda as a combat tank. I know that Pit Lords make better tanks, but something about Night Elves using Pit Lords really just bothers me. Plus I love hearing him say "I can't breed in captivity..." XD

Fire Lord OWNZ!

Yeah, you're right! Fire Lord ownz!
I don't go for his spawn things but his Soul Burn, a better version of Silence (prevents spell casting) plus damage.
I sometimes use the Banshee Ranger, mainly for her Silence and Life Drain (she can fight green and brown dots alone with it!).
Hey, do you know Fire Lord + Banshee Ranger = 1337 Team! (Soul Burn on the Hero and Silence on the Priests etc... ownz!!!)

i love firelord. also i love the tinker. i like tons of them but i guess these r my top 2 favorites. i like havin aura spells or a passive spell so i don't have to click it and worry about other things like the battles. the firelords passive spell and the tinkers passive spell both are really good.

Heck, all of them!

Pandaren -- A nice sound set to go with a cool character. Slow down units and set them on fire with superior Alcohol moves.

Sea Witch -- With Mana Shield and frost arrow? I'm very annoyed when I'm pwned by such a cheap hero in Footmen Frenzy. I do like it when I have her, though.

Firelord -- Another cheap stinker. How can you get to him and kill him if you're NOT a Warden? He surrounds himself with bloody Lava Spawn!

Tinker -- Another stinker who's strong. Oh well, at least he's unique. Who doesn't like sending robot armies, sitting in a gigantic tank, tossing lots of rockets in the air, and getting lots and lots of stats boosts?

Beastmaster -- With the exception of his ultimate, he's pretty cool. I like having a few animal friends who can save my tail every once in a while.

Alchemist -- I don't play him much but he's ok. His abilities are strange, but they fit well--what with Acid Bomb and Healing Spray....

Pit Lord -- With the appropriate artifacts in the map, Pit Lord is unstoppable with his cheap cleaving attack. Otherwise, he's pretty neat.

Banshee Ranger -- One of my favorites. Black Arrow slowly and painfully makes you an army along with Charm. The other abilities I don't use or care for as much.

Firelord because his moves are great besides the health. Usually I get him and my Bloodmage out but I can't really play normal 1v1's since my computer lags early in the game.

Fire Lord + Warden pawns!

Soul Burn + Shadow Strike pawns! Slows them down, can't cast spells, takes both damage over some seconds at the same time, if you have a Keeper or Banshee Ranger with Entangle or Life Drain, you pawn. I tried this team on the Insane computer and pawned his Heroes like crap, normally he pawns you players' Heroes like crap. lol sad... :D

One of my favorite hero combos is a Pit Lord, Crypt Lord, and Dread Lord. They complement each other almost perfectly. Dread Lord indirectly restores health with his vampiric aura, the Crypt Lord makes blockades with carrion beatles, and Pit Lord's howl makes it harder for the enemy to break through your beetles. Plus, all three of their ultimates are kick-ass.
The only thing I wondered about is with the Pit Lord's cleaving attack is if the Pit Lord has vampiric aura, does the splash damage drain from multiple enemies?
Regardless, its a pimp hero combo.

Pit Lord

Should do. But you cannot really test if it does drain from splash damage though... :(

I don't have proof that it does, but by using common sense, it does drain life. It sais on Vampiric aura that it drains life from the percentage of the attack done, so with Cleaving Attack, it will drain life but only a very small percentage since the damage is small.

40% of 40% is pretty small, is it not?

That's around 15% of 20% damage, so yes it's small. He was wondering if it drained life, and it does, but a very small percentage.

Firelord

Pawns man... thought to be unbalanced... but can be killed as soon as any other.
I also like the beastmaster... nice summons ;) .

Guys just a heads up I am going to be shutting the site down soon. I am just waiting on the NUON people to decide whether they want to transfer forum data and keep the discord. My email is [email protected] for anyone that wants to keep in touch and I have a facebook too. I will make an official post later. Love you guys and will miss everyone!

Oh no - please don't lose the Nuon content

  • The Helper The Helper:
Someone email AtariAge and see if they want me to transfer the forum data over to it
  • Ghan Ghan:
Could probably keep NUON stuff around here if we wanted.
  • Ghan Ghan:
Hmm what to do about the World Editor site though?
  • Stephen Stephen:
I'd rather personally just own a backup of the Nuon data than see it go to AtariAge honestly. If it gets enshittified as per usual, or if some of the "regular" Jaguar folks get there, it's not gonna be fun
  • The Helper The Helper:
There will be a github of the forum data so the NUON Forum Data I guess would be available there
  • The Helper The Helper:
World Editor is technically Ryoko stuff not mine you guys can keep that I am not in that even
  • jonas jonas:
:( end of an era :(
  • The Helper The Helper:
Dont think of it as an end jonas - think of it as a beginning, because really my friend that is what it is.
  • A Andyoyo:
Thank you for the hard work over the years. It did not go unnoticed.
