Why is it delay?

Hello... im having a major problem...
I got a map name "ColdCastle" in the member's project...
Whenever i play LAN, there will be delay...
How to overcome this?
Is it because excess of creeps?

Please test my map....i want it to be a successful map.

No.. its not about the connection. Me too got delay eventhough i host the map.
I only play with my own country. So the connection wont be a problem.
Probaly the triggers messed up?

There is always a delay when hosting a game. It could have something to do with WC3 updating it's gamelist or something. Even on a LAN a hosted game will not appear instantly...

Anyone know if it could be the same reason that when selecting some maps in the hosting menu take a second or two to preview the map, while others can instantly be selected?


Also, playing with people in your same country does not guarantee it is not a connection problem in any way.

I suggest you all to test my map by playing with friends.
Test out the map and tell me about it.

I don't know why you refuse to believe that it is the hosting, even the host can get delay. It's that, or the coding is terrible, and likely GUI.

I've got 11 Ping ( MS ) on Lordareon, still if i host i got 'bout 350.

And I and as many, think that is you that is a bad host.
( You dont your map to be blamed, right )

But i hosted another map like Bleach vs Onepiece, DotA, FoC.... nothing wrong.. smoooth... no delays..

I think i put Event> 90 second time elapse then run....
and i also add quite alot of 'wait'
