Wierd folder problem

I posted a problem report about this once before, and got no solutions, this time I posted pictures showing what the folder looks like. I will link you to the OTS site since I posted it there also. go here to look:

For this person having the problems he does not consider reloading the operating system as a solution, Since he has too much installed on his comptuer.

um, windows 98?
thats probobably something to hide the files for privacy or something.

go to view<folder options
there should be 3 tabs. general, view, and file types.
check the general and view settings. you might find something there to turn it off

I tried going to the Knowledge database but every search I did I was nto able to find anything, maybe I did not search for the right thing. I did try checking the general and view settings. Nothing I did changed anything.

im sure it can be disabled.

try customizing your folders in the general tab

The problem has been solved. evidentally installing Download Accelerator Plus on his windows98 (not the SE edition) is what caused the problem, and uninstalling it fixed the problem.

I'll add that to my list fo reasons why hating DAP is good then
