I recently formated a friends computer for him, and installed windows 98 SE.
When windows was finished installing, their was a network card, the onboard sound, 56k modem, and display adapter that all needed to have drivers installed.
So, I went onto another computer, downloaded the drivers for the network card, and installed them on my friends computer. I hooked up the computer to my cable modem, and attempted to connect to the internet, but eveytime I tried I kept getting some wizard trying to install the modem!
I disbaled and uninstalled the modem, but yet I still keep getting the wizard.
Can someone please help me get the internet working on my friends computer so I can finish with drivers?
I just need to get windows to understand that the network card is the default connection...
