Window Me And Diablo 2

Can anyone tell me what fix I need to get D2 working with ME? It pauses on the screen after about 15 minutes of play.

I suspect that you are running something in backgroud that is causing the problem.

do a cntl+alt+delete and tell us all the tasks running.

give us some computer spec's

cpu
Ram
Video card
driver you are using for your video card.

I'm actually not at home at my system. But I am running a P3 1Ghz processor...Asus M/B....NVidia G3.....and 512MB ram. I haven't downloaded any of the patches yet.....most of them had nothing to do with running it on ME. But there was a few that described my problem.

Basically

I was just worried b/c the system specs on the manuel didn't include Windows ME....so my question would be .......will it be okay to run it on my system if I download the lates patches. And what would be the latest driver for the NvIDIA G3 card?

I am running Windows ME on this computer. I am currently running a GF4 4400 and using the 28.32 drivers.

Prior to this GF4, I had a GF2 MX400 and was running the certified 22.80 drivers, even though more current non certified drivers were available.

Both video cards worked with D2
