My roomate uses a proggie called Spy Bot, which removes adware.
He updated it today.
And ran it. It said something classic like 'A reboot is required to remove some item" blah blah.
Reboot.
Wallpaper shows. No icons, start bar, and no right click.
I spent some time on it. Looks like its missing the explorer shell in the services running.
I go to 'New Task' type explorer (thats how I fix mine when it crashes) BUT his just opens 'My computer' window instead of the desktop.
I looked through selective startup for any bugs it was trying to load unsucessfully. I checked the startup folders and registry. Nothing that would jam the machine.
You can use tank man, but again - no icons, no right click, no start bar.

I also tried safe mode, different user account, and the administrator account, with no success.
I'm kinda....stumped.
