    great update tho, still cant wait for it to finish and to be able to play it.

    It's an incentive to stop people killing it ;P.

    That was the end of the game so far, but I've been working on the last part of the level, which I will display once I've added the second cave ;P.

    That's part of the jumping glitch, supposedly fixed, except for steap hills.

    UPDATE:

    CHANGES MADE:

    • End of Level Screen added.
    • Smoke added to Winky's "speeding" animation.
    • Fixed bug where Winky's speeding animation only played in one direction.
    • Spinning menu background slowed down.
    • Falling below ground-level now kills you.
    • 2nd cave added.
    • 1st level's design completed.

    Good lord.

    I should make something like that happen in the fight against Jazz Hands ;P, or the final boss at least.

    KNOWN BUG:

    • Leaving the segment of the level you're in after losing health will reset your health.

    Same. Alot of the changes don't show for me.

    And are you suppose to be able to play the speeding animation while in mid air?

    Speeding animation in mid-air is because there's no double jump animation, yet.

    Awesome, :).

    Nice dust effects, but you should make them last a bit longer, like when you are in "motor run" form and you turn around, there should be a slide and larger dust effect maybe.

    There were some points where my guy was walking through the dirt into the ground. :eek:

    The first part of level 2 is well under way, though I will have to keep alot of the interactives to myself for now, you'll have to wait until release for now ;P.

    As for upcoming interactives, I plan eventually to release a Demo version, which will include 3 levels, with an undecided boss at the end of the third.

    You will however get screenshots of levels, progress and other stuff. You may also get interactives designed specifically for testing certain added features (such as the ability to spit stuff out of your mouth).

    Boss Theme

    One of the ideas I had in mind when making this game was the music. I'm aiming to find an artist that can make some very catchy arcade songs, most of which will be based off of existing, well-known tunes, but mixed up to suit their respective environments.

    I figured I'd give song-making a try for this one, so I decided to do the Boss Theme, and chose a tune that I know very well (the boss theme from Jazz Jackrabbit), after some work, this is what I came up with:

    The original had a different lead in a higher octave, more of an echo + some other jazzy effects and more beats.

    I kept this one simple, but think it turned out quiet nicely.

    As for the game itself, Winky now has proper jump animations, he can shoot stuff out of his mouth, and 2 of the enemies have been scripted (one of which will have different sprites for when you face it in the day-time and in the night-time).

    Comments on the song is appreciated, though I probably won't be using it in the game unless I can't find someone to do a better job ;P.

    Nice music. But in the game, don't make it too loud. Right now, the song I think has too much focus on it. Makes you concentrate more on listening than playing. :D The sounds stand out too much, so it should be used only for bosses. :thup:
