[WIP] Endless Outskirts

    Endless Outskirts (Working Title)

    About:
    What is Endless Outskirts? It is a zombie RPG which requires teamwork and strategy. In other words, you CAN NOT DO most of the things with a one man army. It will be made on the Starcraft II engine along with WASD controls. It will be decided if played top down or 3rd person. You will begin in a starting town and accept missions from there. If linked multiplayer maps are going to be implemented, there will be separate areas for each region of the zombie wasteland. (Kinda like Borderlands). Save/Load system will be implemented.

    Classes:
    As an RPG classes will split out into branches so that everyone’s play style will be accommodated. I'm planning to have 2 STR classes, 2 AGI, and 2 INT for the beginner classes.

    Assault: (STR)
    A general fighting class that is proficient in killing zombies, as a result, he attacks faster, stronger, and can withstand a lot more damage.

    Medic: (INT)
    Medics are an essential part of a team. Medics have the ability to heal other players but are very prone to attacks. However, medics can be later become a "battle medic" type of class if you choose to do so.

    Sniper: (AGI)
    Although not very effective in large hordes, snipers can easily take out special infected. When used effectively in special situations, it can change the battle. Very fragile.

    Engineer(INT):
    Once a mechanic for heavy duty military vehicles, as a fighter on the battlefield, he knows how to handle weapons with scrap metal. Stronger than the sniper but is slower than most classes. Very useful in mobs.

    This is still in a planning phase so I will be updating it hopefully, daily. (If I don't get distracted by TF2 :p)

    project always sound nice on paper:) its a pain to make hero with ability that level a la warcraft and makeing custom ability unlike wc3 were we had many to chose from(basic) so GL:)

    why 2 int class? the editor let you give each hero 4 stats:)

    Don't like WASD controls, clumsy, so is a camera that follows your guy. :(

    Then what would you suggest? Right clicking? Let's see people try to right click while left clicking to shoot.

    ya no kidding in my racing game im making i tried to make the camera like mario mart on SNES and it was a real pain and even then its still not quite how I wanted it to look and on top with wasd to control the unit was a pain to make both work together.

    Hey, I never said I was doing top down and 3rd person combined. I already have the WASD controls setup so there should be no worries.
