US News Woman finds swastika in McDonald's sandwich

MOREHEAD CITY, N.C. (WTVD) --
A Carteret County woman says she was served up a side of hate at her local McDonald's.

WCTI-TV reports Charleigh Matice found a Nazi swastika etched in butter on the inside of the bun of her chicken sandwich when she went to put on mayonnaise.

Matice, whose grandfather fought in World War II, said the swastika really offended her.

McDonald's said it does not tolerate that kind of behavior and fired the employee responsible.
