Bad things about starting an epic sized godlike RPG:
A-They never get finished
B-Epic sized terrains are not meant for RPGS, I mean you have 1 unit and enough room to put 500million units over the map
C-You dont really need player owned houses, and epic RPG's will be EXTERMELY HARD to make save/load codes, especially with houses etc.
D-Many bugs and imbalances are almost certain to appear throughout production, and testing over and over to resolve the problem may cause the creator to lose interest in finishing the project
E-The map may be to large to play on Battle.Net, and/or players will not want to download because the map is to large
F-Epic sized terrains are the most vulnerable to lack of detail and variety of tilesets.
G-Save/load codes may be lost causing many people frustration and making them hate the game
H-Power leveling
I-There should be some sort of threat that are not directly situated through quests and/or fighting alone (eg: natural disasters, thievery in towns, town raids, smarter AI)
Good things about starting an epic sized golike RPG:
A-Lots of oppritunities for unique quests, items, spells, ideas, units, etc
B-Many hours can be spent playing and it has a possibility to never get old (Repetive, lack of quests etc are common errors in this)
Things that make smaller RPG's better(+) or worse(-):
+ A-Not as time consuming
+ B-Easier/Faster to preview all the different classes/heroes etc
- C-Not as many uses for housing, item carriers, mercenaries etc
