I love the classic Worms games, but unfortunately the only one that'll work on my laptop is Worms 2, because Armageddon and World Party have an issue with Intel Mobile chipsets (or something like that). The 3D generation was a bit hit 'n' miss, and I have yet to play any of the recent games. I might pick this one up at some point... because there's nothing quite like dropping a giant concrete quadruped on your helpless foe.
Aww... Worms changed my life when I was little! I absolutely regret moving to anything above windows 98 purely because of worms... it never works properly for me on anything above. I have the complete the set, even the new ones that ain't no good  looking forward to a new one
there was an offer... something like the first generation for arround 30$ and the second for a bit more... I have played and beaten every worms game since armageddon (armageddon, worms world party, worms blast, worms 3D, worms forts under siege(pretty awesome, much more awesome then i thought it would be) worms4:Mayhem (custom weapons? yes, please, hope we can see them again in Reloaded. and worms open warfare 2 (PsP)
I got Worms 2, Armaggedon and WWP for £10. And I've had #1 on PS1 since 2000. Worms 4 was probably the low point IMHO, it was way too easy to drown and the custom weapon editor was near useless.
One of the new generation versions is on sale on PSN right now I think, gonna have to download it methinks
Although I don't know if I need to actually actively heat it or just let the plate and hotend bring the ambient temp to whatever it will, but even then I need to figure out an exfiltration for hot air. I think I kind of know what to do but it's still fucking confusing
I don't think I'm dealing with quite the same pressures though, at the very least its a significantly smaller system. For the time being I'm just going to put together a quick scrubby box though and hope it works good enough to not make my house toxic
I do know this - xenforo dropped the ball by not keeping the vbulletin reputation comments as a feature. The loss of the Reputation comments data when we switched to Xenforo really was the death knell for the site when it came to all the users that left. I know I missed it so much and I got way less interested in the site when that feature was gone and I run the site.
