If it's fun and you can afford the time and money for it, I see no reason not to get it.

Umm if WoW takes up your entire life then you must not have a life to begin with. I got WoW and can play it at regular intervals and it takes up none of my time to do normal daily activities, like work and friends.

Personally, I don't find it that addictive. I mean I don't crave it 24/7 and it would suck if I did becuase I have to play it on another computer which is rarely avalible to me (my main one aint powerful enough :()

Give it a try, it you don't think its working out as good as you thought just sell it.

I have it, I play it alot and I think I'm going to quit soon.

WoW is really fun, but Warcraft III Mapping... it's more meaningful to map then lay WoW, in WoW you get Digi-Items for spending your time, working hard for payinng monthly.

In Warcraft III you get the satisfaction of people playing your maps, you get to learn useful things, you also get to have lots of fun, and It's free.

I spent alot of time on WoW and it DOES get addicting, and even more-so if you have a guild and lots of friends, or if you jsut have multiple characters, or a high lv (55-60) so you can participate in PVP events.

Well, what is more important to you, playing WoW, or possibly getting your life swallowed.

It's not worth playing casually because of the monthly fee, and It's not worth playing "full time" because it does seem like it drains your life and your soul.

Although the graphics can't compare to WoW, Warcraft III is a very good game, and the editor is fantastic, and best of all it's free.

And one more thing you have to remember, you don't own your character, you pay Blizzard to use theirs.

As Alexaqnder has stated, if you have the money for it, get it! It's all about personal taste, and I found things such as Guild Wars and other smaller MMO's to be a bit more linear to WoW. (Meaning not as in-depth, it doesn't mean it's bad, Guild Wars is good! :p) People on WoW are pretty friendly, and I find most of the time that higher levels are willing to help out. (Well...Not TOO high, but I have found a few level 20's that helped me level when I was newer)

So it all depends. OYou should also look intoFinal Fantasy, Guild Wars, etc. If your a huge Warcraft freak like me, then it'll keep you coming for more.

Amen to that, I've always agreed that WoW steals peoples' souls. Those still playing TFT are:

1) Can't get WoW.
2) The lucky few who played WoW at one point but didn't lose their souls to it.
3) People who hate WoW eternally.

I have some friends who are 2 or 3. Anyway, I used to be a hardcore MMORPGer but 15 is one of the bigger subscription fees you can find, plus I know from past experience with games that I'd lose my soul to it. Lol.

That's untrue about TFT players. TFT players may not like MMORPGs (or RPGs, for that matter) Mabye they don't want to play WoW, even though they could.

You have friends that are 2 and 3? hmmm.... how old are you lol?

  • No one is chatting at the moment.
  • Varine Varine:
How can you tell the difference between real traffic and indexing or AI generation bots?
  • The Helper The Helper:
The bots will show up as users online in the forum software but they do not show up in my stats tracking. I am sure there are bots in the stats but the way alot of the bots treat the site do not show up on the stats
  • Varine Varine:
I want to build a filtration system for my 3d printer, and that shit is so much more complicated than I thought it would be
  • Varine Varine:
Apparently ABS emits styrene particulates which can be like .2 micrometers, which idk if the VOC detectors I have can even catch that
  • Varine Varine:
Anyway I need to get some of those sensors and two air pressure sensors installed before an after the filters, which I need to figure out how to calculate the necessary pressure for and I have yet to find anything that tells me how to actually do that, just the cfm ratings
  • Varine Varine:
And then I have to set up an arduino board to read those sensors, which I also don't know very much about but I have a whole bunch of crash course things for that
  • Varine Varine:
These sensors are also a lot more than I thought they would be. Like 5 to 10 each, idk why but I assumed they would be like 2 dollars
  • Varine Varine:
Another issue I'm learning is that a lot of the air quality sensors don't work at very high ambient temperatures. I'm planning on heating this enclosure to like 60C or so, and that's the upper limit of their functionality
  • Varine Varine:
Although I don't know if I need to actually actively heat it or just let the plate and hotend bring the ambient temp to whatever it will, but even then I need to figure out an exfiltration for hot air. I think I kind of know what to do but it's still fucking confusing
  • The Helper The Helper:
Maybe you could find some of that information from AC tech - like how they detect freon and such
  • Varine Varine:
That's mostly what I've been looking at
  • Varine Varine:
I don't think I'm dealing with quite the same pressures though, at the very least its a significantly smaller system. For the time being I'm just going to put together a quick scrubby box though and hope it works good enough to not make my house toxic
  • Varine Varine:
I mean I don't use this enough to pose any significant danger I don't think, but I would still rather not be throwing styrene all over the air

I bitch about Xenforo sometimes but it really is full featured you just have to really know what you are doing to get the most out of it.
  • The Helper The Helper:
It is just not easy to fix styles and customize but it definitely can be done
  • The Helper The Helper:
I do know this - xenforo dropped the ball by not keeping the vbulletin reputation comments as a feature. The loss of the Reputation comments data when we switched to Xenforo really was the death knell for the site when it came to all the users that left. I know I missed it so much and I got way less interested in the site when that feature was gone and I run the site.
