Criminals are raking in thousands of pounds by tricking online gamers into revealing vital information, it was reported today.
Thousands of players are believed to have been hit by the scam which gets con artists into Xbox Live accounts which contains details such as credit card numbers.
The Sun newspaper said victims in the UK have lost on average around £100, but adds 'many have had more than £200 stolen'.
