XP Catching Trigger?

I have a unit that specializes in mostly killing himself and then reviving about 4 times faster than any other unit.
Problem is, you get no XP from suicide type attacks, so he's painfully difficult to level.

Is there a trigger I could make that could allocate the experience lost when he kills things via suicide bombing to a variable, and store it til he revives, then give it to him?

Err... You could make another hero appear and then give all his exp to your normal hero... But i might suggest makeing the suicide ability not kill himself, but blast stuff, and have a trigger kill him after he is done

I'd rather not re-make the ability, it's based of of "Kaboom!", and it does multiple radiuses of damage, which is perfect.

Er... I'm sure there is an ability identicle to Kaboom!, only doesn't kill the caster.

Also, you could make a trigger spell, that just subtractes health equal to the distance from the picked unit to the casting point, that would be effective.

As the thread title suggests, you want a trigger that runs when the ability is cast, so this wouldn't be much of a "To complex" thing.

You could make a nuke, i did but for the exp i'll need to have it cast a moded kaboom or sumtin :P

I got it. Used your suggestion of an XP catching unit.

Made two triggers, one that checks for the effect of an ability and creates the catcher, and then moves it to a secure locked position away from the battle to prevent XP gain, then another to transfer over the XP when the hero revives, and remove the catcher from the game.

Kinda of a stupid meathod, but if thats how you want to do it...

Yeah google does not filter those bots. I remember when Apex was doing Google ads I saw the same IPs in there as I was seeing here - google is totally tracking all those bots as traffic and most google traffic, at least ours, was all bots

Weekend went by too fast. Next weekend I am going to try to do a nature thing - buddy of mine lives by the Colorado river and has some kayaks and invited me to do some kayaking from a place he knows to get on the river.
  • Ghan Ghan:
    That sounds like an adventure.

I wonder how all these bots that sit on the lastest content page get passed anubis or maybe they did not but they are just registering on whos online
  • The Helper The Helper:
showing up on whos online not registration
  • Ghan Ghan:
The first gate is stopping all the bots that don't execute javascript.
  • Ghan Ghan:
That's the main thing with Anubis - no Javascript, no site. Typically you can still get the site to load without Javascript.
  • The Helper The Helper:
I remember the whole javascript thing, question - how many real people disable that?
  • The Helper The Helper:
Hell I guess I could go back on the stats to know that - we probably capture that and we know the before and after
  • Ghan Ghan:
Real users can't really disable Javascript anymore these days.
  • Ghan Ghan:
The internet is broken without it.
  • Ghan Ghan:
    Bot readable, not human usable.
  • The Helper The Helper:
    got it
