I was looking at the "Blizzard is Hiring" list and found something noice...

They are hiring a few positions for a 'Top Secret' 3D Next-Gen MMO game... hmmm

Starcraft Ghost anyone?

Wasn't Starcraft Ghost that failed third-person shooter they had in the works that passed from developer to developer like the ugly kid at the orphange that no-one wanted?

If it is going to be another MMO then it's unlikely to be Starcraft Ghost. Could be related to Starcraft though.

Well, SCG was 'indefinitely postponed' and according to wikipedia:

Earlier in June, Rob Pardo, one of the lead developers at Blizzard Entertainment, indicated that there still was an interest in finishing Ghost. At the D.I.C.E. Summit in February 2008, Blizzard's president Mike Morhaime and Rob Pardo gave a presentation on the company's history. In it they listed the games that they had cancelled, which did not include Ghost. When questioned about this, Blizzard's co-founder Frank Pearce explained that it simply was not in the company's focus at the time due to a finite amount of development resources. Despite this, many of the video games industry's journalists now list Ghost as having been cancelled.

Anyone remember watching the early gameplay trailers? The lurker was the funniest thing ever, because the Ghost just watched it burrow, disappear for 5 seconds, then get impaled from the floor into the ceiling. That alone made it look badass.

As for the hirings, maybe they just want to speed up the other two games they've announced. You never know with Blizzard, the Whackiest Wizards to Walk the World...of Warcraft.

Oh, and oninuva, SC Ghost would be a shooter, not an MMO.

The reason it's not one of their already announced games is because it's 'Top Secret', just like D3 was.

Yea they never said MMMRPG

An MMO shooter though would be strangely different, would have to be like WoW, with how you do what "quests" will be like, and going to such and such places, but with the layout of like COD4 in terms of the aiming and shooting, 1st person, ect, with some Blizz touches.

Or it could be blizz just effing with us and being the next expansion after wotlk, so it gets done sooner.
