Just post your IQ and age. If you don't feel safe posting your age then use...
1-12, 13-17, 18-29, 30+
Any flames or making fun of people = -rep from me, prob -3 or -4

IQ: 136
Age: 13
Grade: 7th (My B-Day is late in the year)
I got into gifted this year and i'm pretty sure 140 is geinus so i'd be "Bordering Geinus".

I have no idea and nor do I care (I think it's at least around 132-140), because I've been able to score well on most, if not all, of the tests I've taken.

I dunno, as I detest standardized testing...

I work my ass all, all my life, to become more intelligent, and all of that is rated in one test?

Pft that.

never consider an online multiple choice free IQ test.. because its multiple test, theres an element of shear dumb luck that counts for alot of your answers.. if you dont take a real written test you haven't taken a respectable iq test

Yes, but you would have to either:

- Pay up.
- Go to school [Which isn't so bad, since you do it all the time, BUT, what if you're on vacation, plus, not all schools offer IQ tests. Which raises another thing... bla bla bla...]

In this world, nothing is free. Well, alot of things are, but it's rare you get something awesome for free. D:

Just to be clear, IQ tests do not test information you know, but how you process information. There is no studying for an IQ test as there are many that are simply pattern analysis, word association or other things that test how well you pick up information, process it and apply it to a given situation. The tests I took to determine mine were given back in the 5th and 6th grade while I was in school.
A normal IQ that most people in the world have is between 90-100. Above 140 is considered genius level and a candidate for MENSA. As far as I know, the highest IQ belongs to Marilyn Vos Savant and it's about 228. Sufferers of Down's syndrome, autism and similar conditions will typically have an IQ in the 20-40's. Most popular IQ tests actually measure the ratio of your mental age to your physical age, so someone with an IQ of 100 has a mental age equivalent to their physical age. A score of 125 would put their mental age at 1.25 times their physical age and a score of 75 would put it at .75 times their physical age.

It somewhat seems more than odd to me that nearly everybody in this thread is far beyond genious
Statistically speaking the average of all members at thehelpers should represent a sample of the overall average, i.e. world population. This average value is, as far as I know, set to 100 per definitionem. Obviously, you have to be clever enough to use a computer and to open an account at thehelpers, which in my personal opinion a person with average intelligence should have no problems to cope with. Yet, even taken into consideration that most probably only those posted in this thread who felt like bragging out, which obviously strongly distorts the "evaluation", I still think that my calculated average IQ value of 134-135 of all members posting in this thread so far seems unlikely high. Remember, this page is called thehelper.net, not "club-of-the-genious.com", so the values given so far do under no circumstances represent reality.

So what it really is me trying to implement some kind of better site navigation not change the whole theme of the site
  • Varine Varine:
How can you tell the difference between real traffic and indexing or AI generation bots?
  • The Helper The Helper:
The bots will show up as users online in the forum software but they do not show up in my stats tracking. I am sure there are bots in the stats but the way alot of the bots treat the site do not show up on the stats
  • Varine Varine:
I want to build a filtration system for my 3d printer, and that shit is so much more complicated than I thought it would be
  • Varine Varine:
Apparently ABS emits styrene particulates which can be like .2 micrometers, which idk if the VOC detectors I have can even catch that
  • Varine Varine:
Anyway I need to get some of those sensors and two air pressure sensors installed before an after the filters, which I need to figure out how to calculate the necessary pressure for and I have yet to find anything that tells me how to actually do that, just the cfm ratings
  • Varine Varine:
And then I have to set up an arduino board to read those sensors, which I also don't know very much about but I have a whole bunch of crash course things for that
  • Varine Varine:
These sensors are also a lot more than I thought they would be. Like 5 to 10 each, idk why but I assumed they would be like 2 dollars
  • Varine Varine:
Another issue I'm learning is that a lot of the air quality sensors don't work at very high ambient temperatures. I'm planning on heating this enclosure to like 60C or so, and that's the upper limit of their functionality
  • Varine Varine:
Although I don't know if I need to actually actively heat it or just let the plate and hotend bring the ambient temp to whatever it will, but even then I need to figure out an exfiltration for hot air. I think I kind of know what to do but it's still fucking confusing
  • The Helper The Helper:
Maybe you could find some of that information from AC tech - like how they detect freon and such
  • Varine Varine:
That's mostly what I've been looking at
  • Varine Varine:
I don't think I'm dealing with quite the same pressures though, at the very least its a significantly smaller system. For the time being I'm just going to put together a quick scrubby box though and hope it works good enough to not make my house toxic
  • Varine Varine:
I mean I don't use this enough to pose any significant danger I don't think, but I would still rather not be throwing styrene all over the air

I bitch about Xenforo sometimes but it really is full featured you just have to really know what you are doing to get the most out of it.
  • The Helper The Helper:
It is just not easy to fix styles and customize but it definitely can be done
  • The Helper The Helper:
I do know this - xenforo dropped the ball by not keeping the vbulletin reputation comments as a feature. The loss of the Reputation comments data when we switched to Xenforo really was the death knell for the site when it came to all the users that left. I know I missed it so much and I got way less interested in the site when that feature was gone and I run the site.
