This is using Mozilla Firefox, newest version. When I go on youtube it won't let me search videos. When I try searching it simply refreshes the page with the "Recommended for you" stuff. If I click on a link to youtube there is no screen for the video, I can only read the comments really, I can't even click on the "more info" tab
If a youtube video is embedded such as the ones in the "Song of the Day" thread they work fine. Any idea how to fix this? As far as I know I have latest flashplayer and java is enabled
Any ideas how to fix this

does it work on I.E. or chrome? if so, try reinstalling FF (probably easiest thing to do)

Google Chrome doesn't work for me. When I install it it always says the webpage is unavailable.
Addons I have are Adobe DLM and Microsoft.NET framework assistant

then I think there are bigger issues then youtube if IE wont work, FF wont reinstall, and chrome wont install - you probably have a virus of some sort disabling your internet, run a scan with an anti-virus (Avast is my preference, but there are many other capable free ones) - if you get errors and are unable to do so, try it in safe mode

I had a lot of trouble getting videos to work properly on Firefox too.
Adobe's automated flash player installer for FF is messed up.

I had to install several times, completely uninstall and re-install a couple of times before it worked as it was supposed to.
I'm sorry I can't remember what I did that fixed it and give more specific information than the above.
