Ok, ill explain how to get | tomarrow, im sleepy. And, i actually made this because when i was a noob and wanted to know colour codes i look at the tutorial here but was like WTF?! It doesn't really explain it.

To get the |, you must press Alternative Gr. + 6 : |
(Alt Gr if you don't understand, at right of the espace button)

I could do a sample map, but, this doesnt realy need it. They all use the same codes, and its just |c00685354Right clcik to activate auto casting.|r. That isn't too complex.

Try to read the tutorial. Also, try to find an English translator in case you don't know English.

I want to add something.
Say you want to convert the 2-letter codes (I don't know what it is called) to numbers, here's a formula :

a = first digit
b = second digit
ab = your number
(a x 16) + b

So FF is
(15 x 16) + 15 = 255!
AA is
(10 x 16) + 10 = 170!
etc.

I do have a little note, when you give the players' colors, the third one, for teal, is really an odd green, not close to teal.

Might want to give it another look.

I agree, this is definitely one of the best tutorials based on color codes that I've read. However, there's a problem the tutorial doesn't address. Sometimes although color codes may display as a particular color, sometimes when it's converted into text via a trigger it sometimes displays as the wrong color.

For example, although teal is |CFF00FFFF, sometimes triggers will display it as green. I'm not sure if it directly relates to your tutorial, but perhaps it would make a great addition to what you already have.
