I get a similar error as Nestharus.

Windows XP Pro. 32-bit

Won't install ; )

Running Windows 7 64-bit

Yeah, you have to make sure you're an administrator (since it extracts files), but the exception could look like you don't have .NET 4.0.

> Moogle

I'm getting sick and tired of MpqLib. Are you using x64?
Moonlite has its own file format. You're not supposed to use .a, you use .gx. Can I get you to screenshot the blinking? Never experienced anything like that before.

The thing about dot instant crashing code completion will be fixed.
I will add an option to install it elsewhere.

The 3 folders are not supposed to be there. And I have no idea where they came from
I thought I had fixed the settings bug. I'll try to refix it :D

Thanks for all the error reports, guys! Keep it coming!

I've gotten it to install on my Desktop running Win7 Ultimate 32-bit with the same precidure. I guess I'm going to have to use it there till I figure out the issue with my laptop, so I'd just like to clarifiy (which is what I thing you were saying, Vestras) that that is a computer issue and not a bug.

[If only there was a none ribbon ver. The MS ribbon makes me made (in nice terms).]

I think it'd take too much time for me to also maintain a toolbar version. Sorry. :(

Enjoy.

Default everything in Moonlite; I was unaware you could change anything anyways.

Windows Vista, 64 bit.

Intel dual core, 3.0 ghz.

nVidia 8800 GTS 512. Latest drivers.

Dunno if that helps at all.

Hmm, I can't seem to reproduce it. Have you had other projects to retry it?
It might be because of 64bit, though I haven't had any other 64bit problems.

Also, have you gotten the bug where when you install it creates the Compiler folder and all that on your desktop? Trying a new project now.

Edit: I have created a new project. Same error occured when I copy pasted, however, when I deleted it all and retyped it manually, it seemed to work. It did however give me division by 0 errors, which I assume is a failure of word completion.

In summary, copy pasta error.

Nope, I haven't. I can't reproduce it and I have no idea how it should happen :/

It's ok Vestras, I was just saying.

Anyways, I've found that I need to rightclick in the project tree to create files for the project. If I choose new under File->New it doesn't create anything.

BUGS -

Project Managar completely fucked up.

Sometimes getting things like "This is not a valid extension" when I try to change the name of a file in the project manager, can't even deselect it without getting spammed with messages like that.

Sometimes when I add a new file it will be like "testgx" instead of "test.gx", when I rename it in project manager it's still fucked and I think this causes the syntax highlighter to go haywire.

Your function searcher or wtf it is sucks alot, I searched for "c_" and my comp was frozen for like 30 seconds.

Try stop using 150mb of ram for something as little as this.

Why the fuck is there a process called "java.exe" that moonlite starts that jumps up and hogs 50mb ram ever 3 seconds or so? It's like after 1 second, 30% CPU and after 2 seconds 50% and then at 3 back to 0% and then it starts all over again.

Not sure if it's a bug but it doesn't highlight natives.

I figured I'd report in with the fix for the error I had and it may help with a few others like Nestharus'.

I removed all my .net installs (2.0, 3.0, 3.5, and 4.0) and reinstalled 2.0 and 4.0 (need 2.0 for some things). Afterwards I had windows update run (it didn't fix before this) and it patched up .net and I'm thinking fixed residual errors in the registry and such.

Signatures can be edit in your account profile. As for the old stuffs, I'm thinking it's because Blizzard is now under Microsoft, and because of Microsoft Xbox going the way it is, it's dreadful.

Crazy how much 3d printing has come in the last few years. Sad that it's not as easily modifiable though
  • Varine Varine:
I bought an Ender 3 during the pandemic and tinkered with it all the time. Just bought a Sovol, not as easy. I'm trying to make it use a different nozzle because I have a fuck ton of Volcanos, and they use what is basically a modified volcano that is just a smidge longer, and almost every part on this thing needs to be redone to make it work
  • Varine Varine:
Luckily I have a 3d printer for that, I guess. But it's ridiculous. The regular volcanos are 21mm, these Sovol versions are about 23.5mm
  • Varine Varine:
So, 2.5mm longer. But the thing that measures the bed is about 1.5mm above the nozzle, so if I swap it with a volcano then I'm 1mm behind it. So cool, new bracket to swap that, but THEN the fan shroud to direct air at the part is ALSO going to be .5mm to low, and so I need to redo that, but by doing that it is a little bit off where it should be blowing and it's throwing it at the heating block instead of the part, and fuck man
  • Varine Varine:
I didn't realize they designed this entire thing to NOT be modded. I would have just got a fucking Bambu if I knew that, the whole point was I could fuck with this. And no one else makes shit for Sovol so I have to go through them, and they have... interesting pricing models. So I have a new extruder altogether that I'm taking apart and going to just design a whole new one to use my nozzles. Dumb design.
  • Varine Varine:
Can't just buy a new heatblock, you need to get a whole hotend - so block, heater cartridge, thermistor, heatbreak, and nozzle. And they put this fucking paste in there so I can't take the thermistor or cartridge out with any ease, that's 30 dollars. Or you can get the whole extrudor with the direct driver AND that heatblock for like 50, but you still can't get any of it to come apart
  • Varine Varine:
Partsbuilt has individual parts I found but they're expensive. I think I can get bits swapped around and make this work with generic shit though
