I won't be able to help out much, started schooling. Just coming in and finishing simple spells.

Spell Name: Soul Strings

Code Preference: GUI

Spell Type: MUI

Initial Mana cost: 10% of the targets maximum health.

Description: : allows the caster full control over the target unit, if the caster is attacked while the unit is controlled the spell will break and the unit will go back to its original owner
if 60 seconds pass and the caster has not been harmed an additional 20% of the targets maximum health in mana will be used to keep the unit permanently.
additionally if the unit is a summon it will only take 10 seconds to take control and the summons duration will be removed allowing the summon to last indefinitely.

Other Remarks: I'd also want it to be able to cast on other units when i casted it previously. And if all possible a lighting effect (mana drain) between the target and the caster, and a condition if the unit strays to far away from the caster.

Targets allowed: Enemy/Allied(not your own), units,summons, non-hero

Spell Name: Lightning Wave

Code Preference: GUI

Spell Type: MUI


Description: The caster has lightning spread out from around him. It purges every enemy it hits for 2, 3, 4 seconds. And does 100, 175, 250 damage.

Other Remarks: If you could use animations from RoC, not FT only ones. That is all

Targets allowed: Enemy/Allied(not your own), units,summons, non-hero

SPELL DISCRIPTION>Create Dragon around the hero and can not be attacked and can not be selected and will be lost if the hero dies
OTHER Remarks> Level 1 create 1 Dragon and have 50 Dmg
Level 2 create 2 Dragon and have 70 Dmg
Level 3 create 4 Dragon and have 150 Dmg,and have spell Aura like paladin aura and last spell have stun spell

On last level do you mean a stun spell like "fireball" for the dragon? or the passive "bash" that gives a percent chance to stun?

Ok i dont know if you don't like people doing this or not, but i had a go at making the requested Soul Strings spell, however i am terrible with special effects or spell animations, and i want to know how i can make the life drain animation between the caster and the unit that he controls. I have posted what ive done so far, but i think it will probably be viewed as a very clunky and... confusing... way of doing this spell. So even if this is not the way you would do it, would you at least be able to tell me how to do a continuous life drain artwork between the units that are being controlled and the caster.

Ok, they like more helpers like skyblader helps [but not anymore because of school] but you might wanna post that your gonna make it. Otherwise you both might make it and..

kk looks great, some leaks, mostly with points and special effects, meh i know that enough.
I put in the lightning effects ( kool easter egg: Try moving away from the caster watch the lightning change :3)
works great, now it can cast on allies but not owned units, when prompted to cast on a unit that is owned, the caster will be paused and a error message will come up and order the caster to stop.

Thanks a bunch for the lightning effects, i had no idea how to do them but i think i get it now :D
I also like looking at your code and how u word things, but i dont think im comfortable enough to use local variables, so i stick with hashtables linked to the unit.
Anyways im gonna have a look at some other spells. Ill post if im gonna try one.

Spell Name: Soul Shattering

Code Preference: GUI if possible

Spell Type:
Its a spell of a chosen hero which only can be picked once, so I guess it doesn't matter?

Description:
The spell will shoot 4 bolts (with tail from the caster) towards random enemies nearby (each bolt must hit a different target than the other, unless not enough targets are nearby). Let's say max range is 800. When the tailed bolts hit enemies they will split out (like Chain Lightning) and hit more targets, even targets further away than 800, up to... 1500 or so.
The initial damage of the 4 bolts is 1300 and the secondary targets gets hit for 650.
While the spell is active the caster can not move or do anything else. A kind of channeled spell. 5sec duration. The caster will be surrounded by a shadowy flame during the spell (doing no damage to the caster nor attackers)
And last the bolts (with tail, can't stress the tail enough) must also be shadow like.
Only 1 level of the spell is necessary.

Other Remarks:
More levels could shoot more bolts, hit more targets, doing more damage. But that's very optional.

Edit: The caster must be trapped in a cast animation during the channeling.

    I bought an Ender 3 during the pandemic and tinkered with it all the time. Just bought a Sovol, not as easy. I'm trying to make it use a different nozzle because I have a fuck ton of Volcanos, and they use what is basically a modified volcano that is just a smidge longer, and almost every part on this thing needs to be redone to make it work

    Luckily I have a 3d printer for that, I guess. But it's ridiculous. The regular volcanos are 21mm, these Sovol versions are about 23.5mm

    So, 2.5mm longer. But the thing that measures the bed is about 1.5mm above the nozzle, so if I swap it with a volcano then I'm 1mm behind it. So cool, new bracket to swap that, but THEN the fan shroud to direct air at the part is ALSO going to be .5mm to low, and so I need to redo that, but by doing that it is a little bit off where it should be blowing and it's throwing it at the heating block instead of the part, and fuck man

    I didn't realize they designed this entire thing to NOT be modded. I would have just got a fucking Bambu if I knew that, the whole point was I could fuck with this. And no one else makes shit for Sovol so I have to go through them, and they have... interesting pricing models. So I have a new extruder altogether that I'm taking apart and going to just design a whole new one to use my nozzles. Dumb design.

    Can't just buy a new heatblock, you need to get a whole hotend - so block, heater cartridge, thermistor, heatbreak, and nozzle. And they put this fucking paste in there so I can't take the thermistor or cartridge out with any ease, that's 30 dollars. Or you can get the whole extrudor with the direct driver AND that heatblock for like 50, but you still can't get any of it to come apart

    Partsbuilt has individual parts I found but they're expensive. I think I can get bits swapped around and make this work with generic shit though
