I have had discussions without the people involved said anything offending to set it off. They had different points than I, but that's it.

As far as the issue in the article goes, it wasn't really rape. Admittedly, it wasn't necessarily consensual because eight year olds aren't exactly exclaimed for their decision making abilities, however it's one person, from a country where this does happen quite frequently, in a region where things like this happen quite frequently, in a world where this not only happens frequently, but it is definitely not in the remotest way consensual.

It's sad, it sucks, it's kind of gross from a different cultural perspective, but all in all not a big deal. You know how many kids were killed in Syria or Egypt yesterday? I don't, but I'm guessing it was a lot more than that, and there's nothing about the sad way the little boy got shot multiple times and slowly and painfully bled to death while he desperately tried to get his father to wake up, who had died in the crossfire in the middle of the street. But I'm pretty fucking sure that's happened multiple times now.

And Solu, the 10 dead babies thing wasn't that kind of joke. Well, Acc might make it one, but it's an ethics thing. What's worse, the deaths, or the way they died? They all died, so is one person dying in a shitty way worse than a bunch of people dying in painless ways?

I really can't see how this justifies making fun of a 8 year old girl's tragic death.
