lol that tutorial is way to complex for me to understand, i wouldnt be able to tell the numbers apart from the item/ hero/ and everything else that is being saved...

ive been looking around EVERYWHERE for a very basic save/load system which just saves an integer (a number). thats all i need. every tutorial i have found only saves numbers up to 9 or 99 and such. i need the number limit to be unlimited. Can anybody please direct me to a tutorial...

I need someone to throughly explain "Substrings" for me. I dont have a clue what they do and i dont understand the whole "Substring(String,1,5). What is the 1,5 anyway? lol

I have just found an anti-cheat system which i have implemented into my map and it works perfectly. Thanks to all of you for your suggestions and such and for trying to help.

ill explain it in more detail now.
i have a save/ load system on my map. now when ever you kill a creature, explore a unique area you gain a experience point. its suppose to be hard to gain experiece points (which it is). now this is all very good on a multiplayer map where cheats are...
that doesnt work, because when a player types a cheatcode it comes up as "Cheat Enabled" instead of the actual text so the trigger doesnt recognize it.
