Because the output file will be parsed, of course. For example, I could add structs to Lua and then the input could use structs, and the output would parse it and make it normal Lua

If you really want to make something like that though, make a "framework" for building them. That way, when WC3 isn't being played anymore, your not stuck with a near-useless piece of software. Instead, you'd have something you could reuse in SC2.
Like a new editor? Don't bother. Not with SC2 coming out so soon.
Better just to focus on SC2, rather than try to make new tools people aren't going to use.
Just run GTrigger through a vJass compiler and you have a vanilla JASS spell event.

Ghan has said he has fixed this. Monovertex please confirm this fix. This was only a problem with people that had signatures in the upper levels like not the special members but the respected members.
