Hey, I'm an avid mapper with the World Editor. I've started off a few projects, but without a strong team to back me, I never finish the projects. I also feel that the World Editor isn't the most powerful tool. That is what keeps me on my toes for Galaxy Editor. It is really hyped up to be a great tool. I itch to see if I can break the game with it. I plan to make many projects I planned with WC3 for SC2. hi, im serious about learning the editor, I already have a beta key woo yay

I've been busy in a discussion regarding extracting models and textures from the game in order to alter them and thats going quite well.

I will be working on creating entirely new replacement textures for units and buildings with a unique visual style, and I hope to be making unique maps and doodad models too, propper high res one complete with normal maps,

Yah i dont think theres muuch you can do till the toolset is release, currently you can dabble in galaxyscript and tinker in the XML files of the game and piss about with triggers and swapping unit weapons and abilities.

And while im sure sure many parallels will exists with War3 editor and SC2, I think there will be even more differences
