Ok one other thing, related to TT.

I read PandaMine's thread on his HSAS system and it was said to be faster than ABC.

My question is: is TT faster than HSAS when it comes to high frequency timers (i.e. 0.03 periodic)?

Umm, did you read the TT documentation? Cohadar said there that TT is the fastest attaching system for high frequency timers. Besides, TT is independant to ABC (different systems) so TT > HSAS > ABC when it comes to speed.
Correct me if I'm mistaking.

But then we became to this, in some post Cohadar sayed that Pandamine HSAS wasn't good at all...

Anyway For attaching to triggers we will have to use ABC, right?

Yeah, ABCT is only for timers. Ops, started answering as if I'm Cohadar. Sry, I'll get away asap :)

So far cr4xzZz was correct in his answers.

Please don't start system wars here, thank you.

I got to say this is really, really easy to use. I didn't understand it first, but when I saw your slide example I understood and I got to agree to this " It does indeed a lot of dirty work for you" ;O
(btw, I'm quite new too attaching and timers, but hell, it didn't took me long to get this ^_^)

Version 2.0

Faster and 100% compatible with the old version.
To upgrade simply replace the trigger text.

Neat... Faster you say. But it's still less faster than TT, right? ^^
I suppose there are no other upgrades instead of speed?

> so it ensures fastest possible data retrieval witch is most important

Isn't this which ? :)

Well it has better memory management but it is not that important as speed.

It is not my fault SFilip was too lazy to include spell checker in TESH :D

already been stated that it is possible, if you like bugs, or so Cohadar seems to think...

Question:
Has an attempt to combine ABCT and TT been made?

Is it possible?

I don't understand this question?

If you meant is it possible to use them in same map at the same time than yes it possible (pyramidal defence)

If you meant is it possible to call ABCT_Start to load data and than use TT_GetData to get data - that is stupid and will not work
(same for TT_Start and using ABCT_GetData)

If you meant creating a system that has all good properties of both TT and ABCT I already answered it here.

It isn't slower.

But 10 TT functions sthat run at the same time are faster than 10 ABCT functions working at the same time.

TT has a way of "stacking" calls that run at the same time.

Well, Cohadar, I don't get how does the ABCT_Zero works...

What current thread is completed?

Signatures can be edit in your account profile. As for the old stuffs, I'm thinking it's because Blizzard is now under Microsoft, and because of Microsoft Xbox going the way it is, it's dreadful.

Crazy how much 3d printing has come in the last few years. Sad that it's not as easily modifiable though
  • Varine Varine:
I bought an Ender 3 during the pandemic and tinkered with it all the time. Just bought a Sovol, not as easy. I'm trying to make it use a different nozzle because I have a fuck ton of Volcanos, and they use what is basically a modified volcano that is just a smidge longer, and almost every part on this thing needs to be redone to make it work
  • Varine Varine:
Luckily I have a 3d printer for that, I guess. But it's ridiculous. The regular volcanos are 21mm, these Sovol versions are about 23.5mm
  • Varine Varine:
So, 2.5mm longer. But the thing that measures the bed is about 1.5mm above the nozzle, so if I swap it with a volcano then I'm 1mm behind it. So cool, new bracket to swap that, but THEN the fan shroud to direct air at the part is ALSO going to be .5mm to low, and so I need to redo that, but by doing that it is a little bit off where it should be blowing and it's throwing it at the heating block instead of the part, and fuck man
  • Varine Varine:
I didn't realize they designed this entire thing to NOT be modded. I would have just got a fucking Bambu if I knew that, the whole point was I could fuck with this. And no one else makes shit for Sovol so I have to go through them, and they have... interesting pricing models. So I have a new extruder altogether that I'm taking apart and going to just design a whole new one to use my nozzles. Dumb design.
  • Varine Varine:
Can't just buy a new heatblock, you need to get a whole hotend - so block, heater cartridge, thermistor, heatbreak, and nozzle. And they put this fucking paste in there so I can't take the thermistor or cartridge out with any ease, that's 30 dollars. Or you can get the whole extrudor with the direct driver AND that heatblock for like 50, but you still can't get any of it to come apart
  • Varine Varine:
Partsbuilt has individual parts I found but they're expensive. I think I can get bits swapped around and make this work with generic shit though
