ok, but i think the differneces between rockets are kinda important. They will not seek them, and i think they should be done like an ability.

A rocket is created, that works like its own unit. It is fired, and goes aiming for its target, but if the target moves enough, the rocket misses, and keeps going till it hits something.

heat seaking, slower, but they will actualy follow the other ship. but, if the ship goes behind something, it is safe, because the missile hits the thing in front of it.

yes, rockets will work differently, but i was thinking rockets-homing, less damage, more and missles - not homing, more damage, faster. and what are we doing next then?

whel, is the map so far, up to date with units, weapons, movment and attack, is the first question.

That is our first priority, and then, we sould work on adding the other weapons, other planes, and i havent got a chance to work on the airplanes yet because im working on something else.

Terrain!!!, its not verry intersting :) sry to say

i like how the islands are set up, but it hink it should be a big map, and have space behind. Also have it like surrounded by land (not compleetly, but make it like a big lake almost, with some rivers flowing off)

the training camp might be nice. . . but its not necesary. Also i would like an island in the canter, and if there is a way to make some nice looking thick clouds, put them over the island



sry id be doing more, but school is starting to get into sesion. I had homecomming saturday, out most of sunday, and i have a paper due Wednesday (had a test today i forgot about yikes!!).

enough about schhol, il work on weeksends whenver i get the chance, or inbetween gomework

Also, the turret things, were like in some aircrafts, when they are low to the ground, they can shoot out of the sides of the aircraft, with large gattling gun, or something. Very effective against ground units. (Or buildings)

Maybe for base abilities...
Code:
Rocket (Non-Homing)
    Shockwave (Change the missile art)
Homing Rocket
    Shadow Strike (Can have duration damage, for the fire in the ship), or the paladin's hammer throw attack
Bombs
    Cluster Rockets (Or a dummy ability, where a bomb-like unit is created, goes down, and then when it gets to 0 height, explodes), or WarStomp.

For clouds, maybe the freezing breath ability's effect on the towers; make it into a doodad, and just create them randomly (Or a unit if you wanted them to move).
These ones would only be able to shoot in front of you, because that's all you would be able to see, and target.

ok, good ideas for the weapons btw, but im wondering DarthFett if you wanted maby, to do some unit editing, and making different custom planes, and stuff. Also terrain needs work

Yeah, I will do that soon. But first, we will need the basic stuff, so that you can at least play it for first 5 minutes, until you need a new ship. There won't be any point of having better ships, if the flying thing, and the weapons aren't any good.

About the flying thing, there are a few glitches:
-Camera locks to practically random point when ship dies
-You cannot use your pilot, or your ship, after it dies.
-Camera is kind of bad looking (you may just want to try the regular camera for now)
-If you leave tile, you die (unless you go off the off-ramp) Should probably just not be able to take off.

u know, the camera is kinda cool, but it does get annoying. It makes it so that when you turning, you cant realy see where your going, and a lot of things arnt in your veiw.

well thats realistic though, maybe i should make it so you can turn your "head" some and look different ways? And for the off-road, I'll probably make it have a deceleration that keeps it real slow.

What do u mean by "one is not being able to lands. Another is the healing place is a little messed up"? Lands as in being able to ground (touch the ground and drop of the pilot, and what healing place? and how is it messed up? I have the vote u wanted done.

test the map, and the barricade things are heal space. Try it out, youl see whats wrong, and the landing as id like there to be a button appear when the ship goes over the runway saying land or takeoff, depending on if it has or has not taken off (check the earlier versions of the map there is something like it allready i think)

and also, and emergency landing thing, so that in case something goes wrong, they can do emergency landing, and either hit watter and die, or hit grass and get stranded w/o plane or a damaged plane. btw il do the model importing and il do all the trigger tansfers into my new map i made.

Sry, i couldnt do much, im now grounded from my comp (which means i can only get on it like for 15 mins max which will allow me to do nothing execpt TH...) for a week... i got the vote u wanted done, and the healing thing (i think), but i didnt have enought time for the other stuff...

    Signatures can be edit in your account profile. As for the old stuffs, I'm thinking it's because Blizzard is now under Microsoft, and because of Microsoft Xbox going the way it is, it's dreadful.

    Crazy how much 3d printing has come in the last few years. Sad that it's not as easily modifiable though

    I bought an Ender 3 during the pandemic and tinkered with it all the time. Just bought a Sovol, not as easy. I'm trying to make it use a different nozzle because I have a fuck ton of Volcanos, and they use what is basically a modified volcano that is just a smidge longer, and almost every part on this thing needs to be redone to make it work

    Luckily I have a 3d printer for that, I guess. But it's ridiculous. The regular volcanos are 21mm, these Sovol versions are about 23.5mm

    So, 2.5mm longer. But the thing that measures the bed is about 1.5mm above the nozzle, so if I swap it with a volcano then I'm 1mm behind it. So cool, new bracket to swap that, but THEN the fan shroud to direct air at the part is ALSO going to be .5mm to low, and so I need to redo that, but by doing that it is a little bit off where it should be blowing and it's throwing it at the heating block instead of the part, and fuck man

    I didn't realize they designed this entire thing to NOT be modded. I would have just got a fucking Bambu if I knew that, the whole point was I could fuck with this. And no one else makes shit for Sovol so I have to go through them, and they have... interesting pricing models. So I have a new extruder altogether that I'm taking apart and going to just design a whole new one to use my nozzles. Dumb design.

    Can't just buy a new heatblock, you need to get a whole hotend - so block, heater cartridge, thermistor, heatbreak, and nozzle. And they put this fucking paste in there so I can't take the thermistor or cartridge out with any ease, that's 30 dollars. Or you can get the whole extrudor with the direct driver AND that heatblock for like 50, but you still can't get any of it to come apart

    Partsbuilt has individual parts I found but they're expensive. I think I can get bits swapped around and make this work with generic shit though
