Battle of Blue Moon v1.18a
A town defense map where you pick a hero from a tavern and defend the townhall from waves of invading demons.
For every 2 players in the game, one of four lanes are randomly opened: north, south, east, and west.
some important notes for starters:
-Don't try to tank everything. Even for strength heroes this will be hard. Let the town's militia help you take damage.
-Potions have cooldown, and cost more money than food. Food is good for in between waves since it ends if you are attacked, but is cheaper and more effective than potions.
-Two heroes per lane, the game opens a lane for every 2 heroes and is balanced around two heroes per lane, but it's not impossible with odd numbers if your teammates are helpful.
-Share steel, one person in the lane should give his lanemate the steel(lumber) that he gets after each wave. This way you can afford militia upgrades for your lane sooner.
-Gang up on bosses, every 4 waves there is a boss. This guy has hp for each player so gang up on him after clearing your wave.
-and last but not least The game is balanced around Hard. Nightmare mode was added later and maybe be too difficult for even the most experienced town defenders. Start out on Normal or Hard for your first time.
I've been working on this map on-again-off-again since summer of '07. This forum has been my primary source of help during that time. I must have done at least 1000 searches here, so I thought you guys should have a crack at it first.
